Il coordinatore genitoriale: un nuovo istituto nel panorama giuridico italiano?

Di Federica Novello -

Parenting coordination is a child-focused ADR practice utilized by Courts to assist separated and divorced parents in resolving high conflict cases. This case note analyses a decision of the Court of Mantova, that concerns a children custody case, in which the judge nominates a “parenting coordinator”. The decision explores the tasks, the role and the essential function of this professional figure. In this case note there is a reconstruction of the details of parenting coordinator’s figure, that is adopted in Italy thanks to the work of the Courts although it isn’t considered by the Italian law. Therefore the case note concludes with a question about the opportunity or need of the Italian Legislator’s action.
